Cluster noise
Anyone notice the cluster needle when rolling back after a gauge sweep making a grinding noise when going into accessory mode? It is silent when turning to redline but when it rolls back I hear the noise. Needle motor or gears?

Interesting. I'm looking at purchasing a 2015 C63s and on the carfax they have a few reports of "checked for noise" then right after that they have "replaced cluster" may be the same problem you are having.

I've heard that noise as well. Last week my car was down, all kinds of error messages popped up on dash, the cluster needles went all the way to the right (silent) and when rolling back it makes the same grinding noise.

Dealer says normal.
