Back in an AMG
I bought my first AMG (Slk55) in 2006 and fell in love with the brand. I sold it in 2009 and picked up an e92 m3 and ran through two of those before selling the latest one in May of this year. Tried the m4 a few times but it did not feel special enough to justify the cost. I even thought about a AMG GT-S as well but since I’m keeping my f-type, it was a more logical choice to get a four-seater to add to the garage vs. having another two-seater.
I’ve been looking at either w204 Black Series or the new w205 AMG C63 as replacements since these cars are about the same in price at this point. I love exterior looks, exclusivity, and history of the BS but couldn’t find one that fit my criteria (less than 15k miles, silver or red, with back seat, has exterior carbon trims and AMG performance media).
Ended up going with the newer model for the better interior, tech, warranty, and tuning potential. I'm very happy with the choice as the interior tech and comfort were high desires on this vehicle. The comfort of a warranty and better build quality also is a plus. It perfectly fills the need for an everyday driver that can be luxurious and practical, yet still plenty fast and feel special when driven. My f-type can now go back to be the weekend only status.

Congratulations of the new AMG.
Great spec.
I think you will find that the c63s get better with each drive.
I have never owned a car that puts a bigger smile on my face. I look forward to getting into it each and every time.

So this car looks like it has the night package as well as a black rear spoiler.
Most (if not at all) of the 2017 C63S Coupes on cars.com with the night package have a body-color rear spoiler.
Is the spoiler on this car wrapped/painted/dipped? Or was a black rear spoiler an option for 2017 at some point?
I know the configurator for MY2017 would show a black rear spoiler when you chose the night package... but couldn't ever find an example of a real-world car that had a black spoiler...
