I have the gtx rear wing, gtx diffuser, rear side flics, and the mirror caps from RW and their quality and fitment is up to par with gem and you can't beat most of their pricing. I can post some pictures later today of the parts.

I have both RW and Mode Carbon on my car and I'm very happy with the quality and fitment of both. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with either. This is the RW Carbon front lip I just added.

Bump. Just noticing a *substantial* price difference between RW and Mode. Any quality in the parts, quality of the weave, final finish, fitment, etc, to justify the significant difference in price? For example:
- $450 more for the Mode Front Trim in CF (and as pictured, the Mode part doesn't seem to include the front lip/edge of the air dam front trim in CF as well, while RW's does (as pictured)
- $500 more for the Mode Edition 1 CF front lip
- A whopping $850 more for the Mode CF sideview mirror covers

I'm typically a "You get what you pay for" typa guy, but I haven't seen/read any significant difference, and not a fan of overpaying for no reason, either.

TIA!

Never had a problem with RWcarbon, although their rear deck lid spoiler did require some "professional installation" by a body shop to get it to fit 100% on my E63.

Yea I think the consensus from the feedback I've read on the forum is the fitment is about the same: as good as can be expected for non-OEM parts. My question is more for those who have owned parts from both. Can you tell a difference in the quality of the part? The weave, the finishing, etc?

For coupes the parts they sell aren't that comparable. The Mode Carbon front lip sticks out a little further than the RW Carbon lip. Mode Carbon's trunk spoiler is much larger than RW Carbon's. And the rear diffusers are completely different.

I have the RW Carbon trunk spoiler but I'll probably get a lip, side skirt extensions, and diffuser from Mode Carbon because I prefer their design.

I believe one should not go on the cheap when it comes to the difusser. I recently installed a mode carbon difusser.

I'm aware that some parts (eg rear trunk lip/spoiler, rear diffuser, etc) are completely different designs between the two. I'm more asking if there's a noticeable quality difference between the two in their identical parts (eg the Front Trim and the mirror covers). Eg, the mirror covers are $850 more from Mode! I'm hoping that's not just a huge markup on the same product!

don't go cheap when buying carbon fiber parts

Bought diffuser from rw carbon. Decided to buy from rw carbon base on all the good reviews and pricing. Lession learned ; you get what you paid for. very disappointed. right side sticks out alittle bit while the left side is flush with bumper. The tabs which clips the diffuse in on the top were slightly off and don't line up evenly. the tap on the left side were way to big to clip on the bumper, had to shave down taps just to fit.

Because I broke a "100% carbon fiber" mode carbon lip in half and it had 2 paper thin sheets of carbon and the rest was fiberglass

That is incredible -

I have a friend that bought one off aliexpress

from China -

The fit was good but it broke on a very slight impact

and after taking it off he discovered the fiberglass

just as you did -

He is debating on the Mode Carbon replacement -

Nothing like first hand experience -

Thanks for sharing -

Thank-You

Tell him to save his money and just buy another Chinese one because it will be the same...

I posted a thread with lots of details and pics about this, mode carbon blew me up with PMs and emails to take it down and let them "resolve" my issue for me. I wasn't trying to get anything free, there wasn't a defect, I hit debris on interstate and it broke. My issue was that they are liars and rebranding cheap Chinese BS and selling it as premium product. Not true.

Mode carbon got the thread closed down, I guess being a MBWorld sponsor has its perks.

What an experience -

I have never read of problems with Vorsteiner

or Macarbon so... the level of

quality relates to the level of price -

Again -Thanks for sharing -

is it me or do the vertical diffuser slats look uneven or crooked?
