Any one here test drive or own the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio?

I have the the Alfa Romeo stelvio ti, not quadrifoglio, and while the car is very good looking and modestly quick compared to to pretty much everything else in its price bracket, the only thing that is dissapointing is the customer service from the alfa romeo dealership. Ssince they are new, they don't have any fancy facilities like mercedes and all the other luxury dealerships. Also, when you need to drop off your car for any sort of repairs, be it an Alfa or Maserati (they are in the same building) they will give you a standard rental car lol. I find that very off puting since most people are spending anywhere from 40k to 150k for a new Alfa or maserati, and I don't want to drive in a basic chevy or toyota while my car is in the dealership.

CLS550 but aiming for AMG GT
Giulia Quadriifoglio test drive.
yup, test drove it to see how it compares to my E63, knowing it’s more comparable to the C63, but the only thing comparable is the engine.
the build quality is crap, as I’m sure you’ve read about, and this car has major issues.
I’m seeing so many for sale with super low miles yet with multiple owners...that says a lot.
do some digging and they have so many problems that people give up and trade them in.
my MB dealer always has them on their lot having been traded in for C63’s!
I wish Alfa would fix the issues because that Ferrari based motor is awesome, but who wants a car that’s always in the shop?

NO, Im not considering it as a C63S Coupe replacement so please breathe LOL.... but Im looking for some real world thoughts here. I have seen the reviews, read the accolades, read the issues, but unlike the M4/M3 Forum where its compared alot, I dont see much dialogue here.

It looks cool but....
I do not think I would ever consider something so rare/unpopular because to me, that also means:
- Less dealerships to repair
- Less spare sparts in stock
- Super expensive and long repair times
- Lower resale value
- Its Italian (no ownership experience, but I do not believe I have ever heard anybody put Italian and reliable in the same sentence in a positive context)
It doesnt affect any of you, but I am also in Taiwan. South Taiwan has 1 Maserati dealership. I heard that the average repair time for the Ghibli (not that I would get 1) is 1 month here.

A buddy of mine had a Ghibli and it was rubbish. Great sounding engine but the interior was cheap Chrysler garbage and the fit and finish on that car was horrible. Plus it was ridiculously expensive to maintain and you couldn’t get parts for it. You don’t want one of these cars for a daily driver. I wouldn’t buy one in a million years. My buddy bought his CPO and got rid of it after six months of nightmare level ownership experience. He replaced it with a Porsche Cayman.

People want to own old Ferraris. Nobody wants to own old Maseratis... unless they’re really really old and/or really really rare.

Look, I've considered this car but being a previous Alfa Owner, I've experienced the Alfa dealer network a d they are a bunch of hench men. Crooks. Maserati for the same problem.
with that said, the Alfa Giulia Q held the Nürbergring record for the fastest 4 door sedan in the world! So it's a very well put together car.

It's not as good as the C63 in everything else. C63s engine, noise, transmission, interior, dealer experience (I assume) and relaibility are all better.

Agreed! The C63S is an all round better car than the Alfa but then again you don't buy an Alfa for that reason. Passion has something to do with it until it burns a hole in your pocket! Then you go back to the Germans!

Drove the Giulia Quadrifoglio. Loved the experience. I was willing to take the chance and purchase one. The new Alfa/Maseratti dealership closed its doors after nine months - before I could purchase the Alfa. It tried to transition from a Hyundai dealership location and was unsuccessful. New Orleans has a large Italian population but the marketing was non existent and it was located at a bad location in the city. My next closest dealership was 250 miles away so I forgot about the Alfa and purchased my C63s.
