Radar Detector Max360 mount

I hardwired a Max360 Radar Detector, but my mount will not stay on the windshield. The darn thing keeps falling off. Any advice on how to get it to stick? I do have tint on my front windshield.

Buy a different mount.
I bought one from radar experts,I believe.
Located in Vegas.
I have tint and mine never falls off....

Of course, now that I've bragged.....

Have you tried 'blendmount'? No affiliation, but I've installed one of their mounts to every sports car I've bought in the last decade, after I found them. Anodized black aluminum, and mounts to the mirror stem. Not cheap, but the best by far IMO. Attached is a picture of it on my Porsche (this site doesn't reduce the pictures. Sorry.), before adjusting it to about 2mm from the bottom of the mirror. There're a few exceptions where mirror just doesn't work; hope MB is not one of them. I always adjust it super close to the bottom of the mirror, and no visibility issues for me. And always hardwire it to the roof console (but can be hardwired to a mirror connector, if accessible) via a 'mirrorTap' cable, which slips to the back of a connector, being 100% reversible without touching the car's wiring. Hope this helps.

Really no stem on rear view mirror

There really is not much of a stem on this rear view mirror. Has a big cover leaving no room to attach anything on there.

Damn. Just checked, and MB seems to be the only manufacturer missing, so no luck there indeed. All MB vehicles are like that then. Oh well. If I end up with one, please post your solution, to see how it looks. Thx.

Make sure the windshield and suction cups are clean with no grease. Then stick the mount on and it should hold no problem.

Escort also has a big suction cup mount (instead of 2 smaller suction cups) and that holds much better.

Or, you can upgrade to a Uniden R3 which offers much better suction cups! =)

I just bought the Max 360 and I had no issue using the suction cup mount on my 2017 c6sS coupe but bought a smaller mount on Ebay that uses double sided tape and is a 1/4 of the size.
It was only $8:
