Good deal/what did you pay?

Good deal/what did you pay?
Didn't see a thread like this in this specific subforum and have seen it on other car forums. Seems to be helpful to some:
Finally found one that I really like and wanted to get the forums opinion on this deal. I put a deposit down on the car to hold it until it gets out of the CPO process.
2016 C63S - 29k miles - CPO good till 11/6/2020.
All services are done and they are doing the 30k mile service
Polar White
AMG Perf exhaust
Review Camera
Light Pkg
Multi media package
Panorama
Heads up
Power rear window shade
Black Ash Wood
19" titanium forged wheel
Driver Assistance Package
MSRP: 85,575
Price: 56,250
Thoughts? Somewhat high miles (I've never bought a sports car with more than 20k miles before) but hits all my needs and most of the wants.

as for new cars....seeing around 3k-4k off.....and 24mo/36mo residuals (10k miles) @ 57%/54%, respectively.
the transaction above would imply 65% residual (35% depreciation) which seems a bit high given the amount of miles on said car.
all that matters is if you the buyer is happy.

None yet....looking for C63
Just picked up a "leftover" 2017 C63AMG Cab today for 10k off of MSRP!!!...not sure if that helps your research. I inquired about leasing and they were using 50% on the residual and she didn't tell me the interest rate....only that there were no incentives.

I also paid $49k for a 2012 CPO S4 w/ 17k miles that MSRP'ed at 55k back in 2013. Audi's CPO warranty is a lot better than MB's, so you can subtract 3-5k to equate the two.
Price on this seems quite fair.

This car is CPO, plus dealer fees, the 65% residual is reasonable. I paid 70k for an identical (85k MSRP) CPO 2016 C63S w/ 10k miles in March.

As i said, all that matters is that the buyer is happy, that's the most important thing.

The point i'm trying to make is, are you the only one willing to pay as much as you did while the broader market may want to pay much less? All that really matters is that one person paid the higher price, relative to the value that the banks are assigning to these cars. The banks are saying that the cars are worth much less to them.

Im considering removing my deposit to wait a few weeks/months to get a lower mileage car. But it’s hard bc this one is optioned quite nicely.

Thanks! It’s interesting bc cpo cars with 10-20k miles go for 60-70k. Not sure we’re banks are valuing these cars but the market/dealers price them in that range. The one I’m looking at is 56,250 but with 29k miles. Mileage is a little high and I drive 12k miles a year and plan to keep it through the cpo warranty so in three years it’ll have 65k miles.

For what it's worth, I passed on this car (mileage being part of the reason but the main being my fiance was in a bad car accident a week ago and we just found out that her car was totaled so we will need to buy her a car). It is back up for sale at Tysinger motors. Their list price si 57,9xx but will accept 56,250 for the car. Hope this one ends up on the boards!
