C63s seats in to C63 ( 205 coupe )
Greetings Mercedes Benz Massive,
Can you tell me if C63s coupe seats fit in to a "Normal" 2017 C63 or do they have to be coded in or are they just plug and play?

And the answer is yes, You do need to code in your S seats, The Interior fits in just fine ( very easy in fact ) but it thows up a seat airbag warning light, The seats are SO much nicer that the std ones!!

Why does the plastic part on the back on the AMG performance seats smell funny. It makes the entire cabin smell when it’s hot out.

I got them off E bay, A Merc breaker in Bradford ( England ) BUT be aware, No matter what they say there was bits missing ( The Seat Ecus and some bits of trim ) And some wiring damage, They were also a bit scuffed but nothing a good clean and feed with good leather food did not fix !!
Cost at the end of the day £2200 Pounds UK, Worth every penny!

Right,
It can be done though its almost impossible to code the seats to the car unless you have the chassis number of the original car, Even then if the seats are out a C63s 205 they wont work in C63 205,
ie you may get some commands but not others or only part movement.
Well not if you go the Merc route that is..
To make them work you have to find the plug on to the motor that is not responding to its command and then you will find there are four wires on to the motor, two power, and two Wires are Signal " Stop signal " wires,
Check with a multi meter you are getting power on either of the heaver of the wires, when you hit the command switch it either direction, If you getting power you on your way,
Now to get 100% command, Just cut and tape up the two ( Light and much smaller of the four wires )
And you should be ok now, At least i was and it took weeks to suss out.
