Sedans on 295/30/19 rears on OEM question(s).

I understand this is not recommended for the rear wheel width (9.5") but fail to see much downside for a car that will not be tracked or auto-crossed, and the owner doesn't get nutso on street corners (anymore). If your opinion if different it is more than welcome.
Tires would be changed out to Michelin PS4S, 255/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear somewhere after break in miles, probably 6 months +, baby to be built 3/14. Interested in Dinan after that. Maybe or not suspension mods... not sure yet. Have had some interesting cars over the years, I see this as my last Adrenalin machine.

All comments appreciated, both + and -.

Why not get new wheels if you want to put on 295's? Compromised fit not really worth it from a safety point of view and looks cheesy IMO. Just my .02

The sedan really needs a lot of traction, I always slip with the default 265/35R19 Rear setup, I'm considering getting wider tires too, but not sure about the best wheel rim size and tire size combo. I did some research and can confirm that 295/30R19 for OEM rear wheel rim is no good. You do need new wheel rims for width larger than 285. I'm wondering if putting on 12" wide wheel rim with 325/30R19 tire would give me much better traction or not............

Oh I just discovered the rubbing issue can be fixed with a K-Mac camber kits you just mentioned in another thread, so yeah, 295 actually can work.

Not at this moment, I'm still running with the OEM setup, I thought I talked to you in the other thread, so I guess I will follow whatever you did with the wide setup.

RDO... are you running 295's on stock sedan 9.5" wide rear rims? If so, any issues?

I believe I recall U said after camber was set tires sat straighter up 20mm lowering seemed to create no rub issues....... 42 front and 44 rear pressures and you were running 265 in front PS4S all around.

AND many thanks for your response. My ride is scheduled to be built today. Possible 3/23 or slightly after delivery.

Hey bro, I went to my local wheel shop today and the guy I know helped me out by finding the best possible set. So what I got here is 265/35R19 front on 19"x9.5 offsets from -1 to 48 and 295/35R19 rear on 19"x10 offsets from +4 to +54, confirmed that this setup works and no rubbing issues.

The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
The wheels are supplied by forgestar, model name is CF5V, they are flow formed wheels (weights of flow formed wheels are between cast and forged wheels, it's price is slightly higher than cast wheels but much lower than forged wheels)

I ordered the matte black ones, and they will be shipped to the shop within 6-7 weeks.
When they are mounted, they should look something like this:

I hope these info will help you out.
And I will post photos after they are mounted in early May.

I used to run 255/35 19s front and 295/30 19s rear no issue with OEM wheels. Currently running the same tires with wider rims now 9.5 and 10.5
