Electronic rear axel inoperative message
Does anyone know what would cause that to happen? Thanks

Is yours the electronic diff from the S model? How come they replaced it mate? From the warning message?

2nd and last MB I buy, bone stock C63s has been in the workshop for around 4 items under warranty.
1. Diff Replaced - Electronic Rear Axle Inoperative
2. Exhaust Replaced - Exhaust Rattle/Flaps/Valves
3. Rear Sensors Faulty - Rear sensor warning - inoperative
4. Interior Rattle - Interior Rattle
I have not had these issues on cars worth 1/4 of this C63s.

Every issue seems normal to them and are unwilling to fix. I had my rear diff replaced too and they refused to fix my exhaust rattle because of a secondary cat delete which obviously has nothing to do with faulty valves

Mercedes are now officially rubbish in my books, particularly the C63s which I refer to as my 150k lemon. After the amount of strange problems I've had on this 4 year old car since brand new, i just can't trust Mercedes ever again.
Warranty was a huge waste of time, especially when they don't even want to fix or help you when something legit has gone wrong. I don't even expect special treatment, just fix the thing and make it reliable 🙄
Hearing everyone's similar experiences makes me realize the whole damn company is like this. It's like they train everyone at their dealerships across the world to try and wriggle out of helping customers by responding to problems as "that's normal".
As much as I love this legendary car, Mercedes AMG need to fix this habit and improve the quality of their cars and service or I don't think I will buy from them again.

And MB said they never touched this when they replaced the Diff, yet there is a big chunk out of the metal, showing they had taken it off.
Another pic after wiping excess grease off today, MB wanted to charge me over 1200 to fix this issue they caused!
Funny how this chunk missing from the metal came like this new from factory? and MB never touched it to replace the diff. The other side is perfect, so they obviously took this side out, and slid the Diff out to the right when replacing.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

This creates an issue were the dealership is having to pay a mechanic for time spent above and beyond , or as now, some dealerships DO NOT pay mechanics on time spent, but just on what the books says from MB, which then causes TECHS to fudge or just lie about what they did or did NOT do.
I caught a dealership doing seriously crazyness 2 times (thanks to my in car cams etc) and when they lied and lied, i finally dropped the videos on them and MB. Few people got fired, etc etc, but in the end, its still the same thing at other dealerships.

On both sides I had to push the whole spindle inward thus pushing the axle slightly more in and I think that triggered something inside the diff?
any thoughts?
