C450 Owner looking a '17 C63

Hey folks. My 2016 C450 is up on lease in 12 months and there is a '17 C63 on the lot that I might be able to get a decent deal on and I'm weighing options and have a couple q's.

Firstly, I live in Toronto and it snows. I have good snows and my 450 w/ its AWD was a rock star. I get RWD isn't going to be great, but with good snows any comments on drivability? Not sure how well the traction control help you stay on the road in the snow ;-)

Secondly, anyone know if my '16 C450 rims which were hard to find, will fit well on the C63? That's a few K I'd rather not spend again.

Should mention, I LOVE my 450, best car I've had. I custom ordered it (Iridium/Cranberry) and would hate to give it up, but the sound of the C63 calls to me ;-)

I'm from Toronto and drove the C63S all winter. It's actually pretty fun drifting it around in the snow!! The C63S definitely isn't a "rock star' in the snow. It gets 10/10 for style, but 7/10 for actual snow performance.

I think you'll definitely enjoy the C63, it's a totally different beast than the C450, totally different. Sometimes I'm stuck in traffic, and instead of getting annoyed like I did in my M3, I just drop it down a gear and let the exhaust rip and crackle.

If your worried about AWD the cla45 amg is a great car to consider amazing tourqe! The AWD in it is awesome and with a ecu flash mine felt pretty close to my stock c63 in performance. It can't match the sound or feel of the c63. However I can't imagine having to drive the c63 in snow or ice its hard enough to keep the tail end from stepping out in the summer! The child in me tells you to get the c63 however.

Thanks Guys.. Of note, my 450 has 18" Rims which were a pain to match up offset wise. They were over 2.5k w/ tires/TPMS etc. If they fit on the 63 it saves dough and they look decent.

On a C63, the 18" might fit (depending on offset). Definitely worth a shot!

Sorry, I misread that you had 16" wheels and was thinking "WOW, Benz with 16" wheels...I haven't had 16" wheels in 20-years". LOL

Your talking about a C63 and not a C63S right? as a C63S has larger brakes and the 18's will not fit.

Ya, regular C63 - would otherwise get a '19 C43, but there is a '17 C63 that is getting pretty close price wise and fits my budget.

If both are close now price wise, 3-years from now, the '17 C63 will be worth more than the '19 C43, so you're making the wiser financial choice too!
