Strange sound
On my C63S there’s a very slight almost inaudible whining sound, it stops 1 second after coming to a standstill with the engine running then starts again when moving off slowly it’s probably still there when going quicker but other noises take over, it wasn’t on the car when new and temperature makes no difference and it’s still there when climate is switched off, been to the dealer and they can’t shed light on it, I’m not particularly worried I’m just interested what could be causing it, ideas anyone?

I get the same but only noticed it since the car was serviced just recently... I thought perhaps it was related to some software update they did affecting the transmission mapping, but just speculating! Has yours been serviced recently?

No, not been touched since I bought it new, I’m only on 1450 miles, dealer expert didn’t know what it is, never heard it before, I’m going to leave it for now and see if it gets any worse.
