Today's project

Before

After

Upgraded my brakes using the 2 piece GT rotors and Porterfield R4S pads all the way around . After a quick break in they feel pretty good and no where near the dust the OE pads throw

Are those the Brembo rotors from FCP Euro?

No more rusted hubs.. that's the best.

Did you get these? https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...mbo-2304211212

I'm also considering changing to these once mine wear out.

You lose the floating rotors, but not sure if you'll really notice in every day driving. Hoping for some feedback!

Yes I got them from FCP Euro but they are the exact same rotor found on the GT . I think they look better and I haven't noticed any real difference in feel and anything I do feel would be related to the pads more than the rotors . I got tired of looking at the rusty front rotors and these were a way better deal. Mine weren't even worn out but I wanted less brake dust so I changed all the rotors & pads

The factory S rotors are 1 piece solid ...not "floating" as mentioned. The GT rotors ,such as the type I installed from FCP Euro, are floating 2 piece rotors .....

I just went with the stock rotors and Porterfield R4S pads , there really isn't a rotor upgrade for the rear unless you go with a complete aftermarket kit inc calipers

If you search E-Bay you will find them quite a bit cheaper than FCP

Was there a size increase or is the diameter the same as the factory rotors?

Did you happen to weigh both rotors before fitting?

I think I’ll be up for rotors soon.

Sorry ...I was away so wasn't able to answer . The GT rotors are definitely lighter and the size is the same as stock
