If you have to switch your C63 into an SUV now what would you get?
.Wondering what you guys would choose personally and any suggestions.
I'm currently looking at:
the F-Pace SVR (which I don't know when they will start landing in Canada)
the Macan GTS (I like the current gen but new macans are just announced)
Range Rover Sport supercharged V8 (love the SVR version too but way too expensive)
Also interested in the new X5M, Cayenne gts and Velar SVR, but dunno when they'll be released.
What do you guys think?

Personally, I'm picking up a CPO Macan S for my wife next year. $35-40k will get you into a nice, loaded, relatively low-mile Macan S with extended warranty. The news ones do look pretty nice though with that lightbar across the taillights.

Recently I have test drive my friends RR Velar 1st Edition, it is luxurious, comfort and powerful. But don't really like the double touch screen dash control. It's a nice car but need to add lots of option and it going to cost you.
I ended up with a Volvo XC90 R-Design with the 22" wheels, carbon interior and upgraded stereo. My payment (with no money down) is $785/month for a 3 year lease and a 12,000 mile/year contract. The truck is really nice inside and the upgraded stereo by Bowers and Wilkins is probably the best factory stereo that i have ever heard. It is very low on power, the brakes are so so, it handles pretty good and leg room is ok. Overall I am happy with the purchase for the amount of money that it costs me. I did not look at any Porsche SUV's but i would assume that those would have cost me a lot more money.
SUVs are multi purpose vehicles and that encompasses a large number of tasks to be accomplished, different than our C63S, which are either sport sedans or sport coupes/convertibles. They serve a sole purpose which is Luxury Performance. I think your first step should be to determine what will be the main purpose of that car for you.
I used to drive a ‘15 Macan Turbo that was tuned and putting around 440awhp to the ground screaming with a straight pipe exhaust, it even reminded me a little of my GTR engine sound. It was a load of fun to drive on track days and I could fit 5 people on it for the weekend. It drank half the gas of the 63, could fit all of my wife’s Home Depot inventions on the trunk and I got a great deal on it being a CPO with less than 10k miles from Champion, but I wanted something different, I’ll have another SUV later in life when kids are coming along and I actually need the extra seats.
My current ‘18 C63S Coupe is obviously a lot more fun to drive and has a much better interior. I also love looking at the cars lines, something that I didn’t appreciate as much in the Macan. SUVs are just not good looking cars. Their proportions are weird and even though Porsche improved on the Macan it is still not a stunner like the new Panamera IMO.
I also had the opportunity to drive the FPace and the Velar. I think the FPace is better on the interior than the Macan and it has more space on the back seat, but it would never be as fun to drive or have the parts availability to tune / modify it like the Porsche. Same applies for the Velar (at least for now..).
If it was my case, I would wait a little longer. BMW is coming strong with the new X3/X4M and that engine platform is heaven for tuning capabilities. Mercedes will likely refresh the GLC interior on late 19 on a facelift to be up to par with the whole line. Anyways, good luck on the search!
If you need the higher ride height I'd say just get the GLC43/63..or a GLE 43/63 AMG

But I'm biased.
