Clear coat peeled off on brake caliper
i know this topic has been covered... bought used c63 from Mercedes dealer, non CPO.... after the purchase I’ve noticed that passenger side red caliper clearcoat is peeled off so paint is dull instead of being shiny.... I called the service and they sounded like they don’t want to deal with the issue.... I ended up calling like 5 times I’m 3 days to try to schedule... they said they will take a look.... my car is 2015, I know I have 1 year left on manufactures warranty... I’m just wondering what kind excuses they will Try to come up~~~ if you guys have any experience please share with me~~~ I need to have a backup plan just in case or maybe I’ll just pay out of my pocket to get it repainted

that's tricky. depending on the dealer, I believe most will say wear and tear. it really is though, there is no defect in how they operate from it. milan25, I think was extremely lucky. you can have them powder coated just about any color you want for about $400 $500 and they'll look crisp. good luck

so I got a call from SA, she told me it will not covered under the warranty. Typically anything exterior is only covered first year. So I told her to get me an estimate for repaint...... what should I do? call MBUSA?
