9k and shock is gone...Quality German engineering =p
Just bought my car in for Service A. 1 year and 9.3k KM. Heard some sound from the rear, they checked and it was the suspension. Waiting on parts from Germany now...
Mean while, wifes Lexus SUV, 170k KM and not a single hip up.

You guys clearly haven't driven in the US. LOL
Our roads, especially uptown, are in really good shape.
Mercedes doesn't manufacture the shock, and like any other part, it can be defective. At least Mercedes is covering it without any issues.

Toronto roads definitely have some bad pot holes, but they do get fixed relatively quickly.
