Mods and Upgrades recommendations for a C63
Just joined the AMG family, just wonder what some of you recommend for a first upgrade?

Congrats on the new ride brotha. My first mod for this car was H&R lowering springs I ordered from tire rack for $299. It gave it a nice drop and the ride quality is the same as it was factory, just a bit stiffer imo. I’m getting the windows tinted today and I semi debadged it over the weekend, so I say go for aesthetics to change the look to your liking. Also keep your eye out for BMS piggyback and open intakes to be released shortly to improve the performance side of the car.

tint, then some snow tires, get a properly fitted set of wheels will make a huge change. i would not worry about an intake till you have other mods first. maybe just some aftermarket filters

Thanks bro! I’m getting my tints this Friday, I was thinking of getting springs and intake first. The issue also is that I’m in MA and winter is almost upon us so I’m just trying to get all the parts & upgrades now then March-April comes I do everything. Any recommendations on rims and tires ?

If you buy the car new you have a free spot for the Mercedes driving academy.
MBO does a drive down together to Lime Rock with a bunch of owners
It is a great time, dinner drinks hotel and great drive down.
It is not just Mercedes cars also....we had Mclarens Porsche Ferrari and 4 merc GTRs.
is your car new?

You sure they are run-flats as they don't come with run flats but with a used they might have put them on.
some sales men think they are run-flats as mine said they were but were not. they don't have a spare so I guess some clueless sales people think they must be run-flats.
what are they and what size?

They’re Michelin’s Fronts 245/40zr18 97Y, Backs 265/40zr18 101y

#1 mod is better tires
if yours came with Michelin pilot super sports like mine, change! Crap tires.
Atm I'm running Toyo R888r & they made a night and day difference on the car (although you do hear increased cabin noise, so these performance tires should be avoided if you care about noise).

couldnt even use launch control on the stock tires since they didnt grip at all.
tirecrawler.com has the tires I mentioned on 15% sale+free shipping atm, about to order another set just to have them.
but im also in Florida and dont need to worry about snow

I'm around the area too. I purchased my C63s (coupe) from MBOB too. the only mod I did so far was removing the rear bumper guards that came with the coupe and paint the roof gloss black. I am thinking of tinting next.
