For my c63s, I bought a Weistec vta adapter system. I thought it was a nice update for the money and work.
Stock the wastegates are closed with a hose which is connected with the air cleaner boxes.
The Weistec wastegates are open for more turbo sound but what about dirt and dust?

The valves are normally shut. Only when it "blows off" is when it opens and when that happens forceable air shoots out. It never sucks air in if that is what you're afraid of.
