GLS550 / C63 S / Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited
Opinion needed
So I am taking my C63 to a local graphics shop to have some of the chrome trim blacked out - giving it the appearance of the night styling package. In addition to all the components that came blacked out, would you suggest having the chrome trim below the Mercedes symbol on the rear deck done in black as well? Thanks

I'd take off the chrome strip if I were you. Clashes with the blacked out spoiler.

You've come to the right place for opinions. I agree that you should either remove it completely or black it out. If you're blacking any of it, black all of it.

That chrome strip is one of the things I'm not too crazy about with this car. Definitely black it out.

Nice color too. I just placed an order for a C63 in that same color.

But he has a blacked out spoiler. Don't you think it would look strange with a blacked out trunk strip? That's why I suggested taking off the trunk strip completely.

i would say, maybe leave the chrome strip just below the the 3 pointed star for last. The standard night pack keeps that strip in chrome. The chrome bit near the diffuser on the other hand needs to go!!
