Whats the difference between the Renntech BOV Adapter versus Weistec BOV Adapter besides the cost? Is one louder than the other?

not sure about loudness but also the way they install. the weistech ones you disconnect two pipes and cap them. then you install a shaped peice of metal that creates a certain sound. this is installed in the front on the engine
the Renntech look similar to the turbokits.com ones i purchased a few years ago. they are more spacers that install under the diverter valve with longer bolts.
as far as i have heard both accompish the same thing in diff ways. i am very happy with mine

I have Weistec and its louder then renntech or turbo kit.

 

Anyone have the Agency Power BOVs?? I found a video on youtube with amazing sound. Thinking on getting either Weistec or Agency...

 

I did a little research and found out that this kit can actually reduce turbo lag by a little bit, the thing is, I hate that hiss sound created by BOV, is there any type of BOV that doesn't create this sound but still help release the pressure?

 

I have Renntech and it's not too loud or obnoxious but just sounds badass coming off high boost and also some high rev up shifts you get a short kshhh. I'm getting downpipes and tune at eurocharged tomorrow so cant wait to hear the whole package.

 

I ended up going with Renntech . It sounds very nice! It has just the right depth of volume and is not obnoxious.
