Are you the Alfa Romeo Stelvio isn't designed for the Stelvio pass ? haha . I mean the c63 is a c63. Its even held in a higher class than the Bmw M3/M4 and I've heard even that the new facelift for them will be the same hp/torque as the c63 and possibly have the "filter" too. BMW actually removed the M3 from their website because of the emission situation. And I would love to take the car somewhere there but i have a lease and my mileage would rack up too quick.

BMW removed the m3 because of the new body.. they stopped production of the m3 when i was ordering my car a year ago. they always do that. They could have modded the car to pass emissions like the m4 but they did not because it was at the end of the cycle with the all new body coming out.. not to mention they had a serious issue with defective drive shafts that they were working on fixing at that time and had to halt sales of the 18's both m3 and m4's in the US because of that issue. They added the filter to the m4's for 2019 in the EU, why wouldn't they do it to the m3's if there was life left in the cycle?

Filter issue 2019 model
i purchased a 2019 c63 AMG coupe. And it sounds much quieter. Literally no pops or crackles when downshifting. Can’t someone at a mod shop figure out how to remove these filters and or have an add on to fix??
I have a 2018 C63S Coupe. I love this car.
I also am a big fan of the 2019 improvements, except the artificially piped in exhaust sound installed due to the new filters. Most of us must hate that, I would think.
I was going to trade/sell and order a 2019, but now I will wait to see what is up in the U.S. to see if the filters arrive over here.
Anyone have a 2019 delivery in the U.S. and can advise?
Bottom line- when the real AMG exhaust sound is gone, the brand is dead to me (and likely to all of you).

Here's the track video of my run with the GT R. It was lead/follow, but we got some nice speeds in. The 2019 C63S and 2020 GT R sound very similar. Nearly identical actually. The GT R is perhaps a bit louder since one sits closer to the exhaust, but the quality of the sound etc. is very similar.
