C63SA Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition
My 2018 C62S Coupé was totaled in a minor accident last June. I ordered a 2019 C63 Coupé which was delayed in production and further delayed between the port and the dealer. When it finally arrived 5 weeks late, the reason for the production delay became clear: they had problems with the Iridium silver Magno matte paint and someone, somehow made the unilateral decision to paint my special order car black! If anything, they could've painted it shiny Iridium silver instead of matte but certainly not black. So, after going almost 6 months without a car, I started to look and was coming up empty. I decided to take a look at the CLS53 to see if there was one in Selenite Magno matte paint that would appeal to me and as I sat with a new salesman at a new M-B dealership (I had moved residence from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale during the time my special order was in production) and told him my tale of woe, he asked if I'd be interested in a CPO 2018 C63S Cabriolet with only 950 miles on it and pointed over his shoulder. Lo and behold, there stood the car of my dreams! A pristine, showroom new Ocean Blue C63SA Cabriolet! It was love at first sight.*
I've owned 3 Bentley Continental GTCs with their Mulliner diamond-quilted interiors and find the Ocean Blue's exclusive seats to be every bit as nice as my GTC's were. The attention to detail is phenomenal and the Cashmere white matte paint looks like velvet. Teal and turquoise are my favorite colors so the trim on this car in teal against all the white are the perfect combination, IMO.
I'm so happy to hear that crackling exhaust again but so much happier it's coming out of this gorgeous car's tailpipes than I would be in the car I'd ordered! What are the odds of me finding a car they made only 150 examples of that I once saw in pictures and fell in love with but had completely forgotten even existed? My car was only at the dealer for less than a day when I happened upon her totally serendipitously so the odds of me walking in that particular dealership at that particular time and meeting that particular salesman are astronomical. All I can say is, I'm one lucky dude.

What an interesting car. Never knew this limited edition existed. A beautiful and unique ride. Congratulations. Your back story makes it even more interesting. I'm sure you won't see another on the road or in a parking lot. Good luck.

I traded it in two years ago on a new 2022 AMG GT53 4-door Coupe but I sure do miss the exhaust note on that beauty you just bought, whether it's mine or not. I traded mine in to MB of Coral Gables and a couple of months ago I saw my identical car drive by my Ft. Lauderdale condo, the first I've ever seen outside my own after nearly 4 years of ownership and 6 years since having acquired mine. I miss that sound so I am going to order a 2025 AMG GT63 4-door Coupe and since it has the 577hp version of the C63S's TT V8, I expect it to sound as good. Wish you many years of safe and enjoyable driving in that unique and special car!
