C63S Coupe Break-In
In the manual it states to avoid going over 85mph and 4500rpms for the first 1000 miles. I was out on the freeway today and the car has around 300 miles on it. I went over 85 to around 86-87 a few times just because the acceleration was seamless and I didn't see it spike so high that fast. Is this going to cause any problems because I exceeded 85mph?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, manufacturers throw in break in procedures just for the fun of it.

they are likely setting the break-in limitations for warranty compliance and legal reasons. I am a firm believer in break in periods but what the parameters are is up for debate I suppose

I've pass the RPM limit a few times (maybe just twice or so) by accident during my break-in, and i believe in following the break-in period. it's easy to lose attention and be within the parameters with this car being so eager. 8000 miles later no issues. I'm sure you will be fine
