2019 C63s Coupe lowered with spacers

Hi
I started lowering the car today with KW HAS. I’ve also gone 15mm Bimecc spacers all round. Strangely It looks as if the front has come down a little, even though I’ve only done the Back so far ??
The pics show with the front spacers on.

Looking good. Are you saying those pics are only front spacers on and only rear lowered? Thinking off going 12mm all round on mine but not lowering as it’s my daily work car. Make sure you keep the pics coming.

Also, I strangely like the look without centre caps. Had a loan glc63 from Milton Keynes merc and they remove all the caps on loaners and I thought that looked tough!

15mm spacers on all round but only the rear lowered. If It was not lowering I would have also gone 12mm all round, or 12mm front 15mm rear.
If it helps, I can confirm that 15mm will give a flush tyre at the rear (maybe 1mm outside) & 5 to 6mm protrusion on the front. This was measured using a straight edge across the tyres (top & bottom) & measuring then, the gap to the wheel arch. It was also done before any lowering.
i drove the vehicle after fitting to ensure settlement & accurate measurement, which was taken from a level workshop floor.
These measurements are based on 20/19” rims with OEM tyres.

Top man. Really useful info. I’m on same wheels, and normallly lower all my cars but trying to resist this one!

15mm will look perfect on the kws. Do you think 12mm will look ok on non lowered on the front? I’m now pondering 12/15? Don’t want poke as fine when lowered but not so great when Oem height.

Any pics of the facelift rear diffuser and tailpipes. Bought the edition 1 kit and all the facelift front bits but not fitted yet. Not sure if I will fit ed1 rear diffuser or Get the facelift rear diffuser/ bigger tailpipes?

if you don’t want poke & remaining not lowered, I think you will be happiest at 12mm all round. That will put front max 2mm outside front; & rear 2mm inside at rear. A good plan (which I did). Buy one set (of 12’s) & put one front & one rear. Drive slowly a few metres around you drive & then take a look/decision. You will then know if you want another set of 12’s; or 15’s.
I’ll take some closer pics of rear for you tomorrow & post pm (UK).

Good shout on the test. I’m ok with a bit of poke on the rear tbh. Did 15 on the rear look ok non lowered?

Hmm, rear diffuser looks very good. Need some part numbers now to price it up.

More pics would be great. Keep us posted.

on OEM the back looked fine at 15 if your ok with a little poke. As suggested just buy one set of 15 & try first. Having done that myself; without lowering I’d have gone 15R & 12F. The front looked a little protruded non-lowered. I’ll also post a pic of front tomorrow before I lower it.....

NJ 1161: I’ve been rolling round on my backside today taking pictures for you. The wheel ones are front 15mm spacers-non lowered-OEM 19”wheels (from the 20/19” option).
i hope this helps you.

Thanks again. Are the front pics on 12 or 15mm?

Just need to find the part number now for the facelift rear diffuser and tailpipes to cost it up!

Ive seen on Cm wheel they do 10mm h&r and 15mm Bimmec spacers for £145 so now considering these. Think 15mm fits well as standard tyres have a stretch to them but un keen on poke on front so thinking 10mm would work. I presume these must be hubcentric in 10mm still.

Be be sure to update the thread once all fitted. Any other mods planned?

Love it. Following with interest RE the spacers. Certainly accentuates the squaty stance of the coupes

Good for everyone to know, that despite substantial changers to the 19 MY car, with the multi stage damping options, the suspension components remain unchanged (I checked the part numbers between 18my cars & face change).
Therefore the are no issues with using the aftermarket lowering options. I’ve been talking with KW & providing feedback on the HAS fitment, as they have not lowered or seen lowered a 19 MY car yet. I agree it certainly give the Coupe a more aggressive look. Looks like it’s about to pounce !

Rear only lowered so far

Probably a week or so. I don’t have much time this week. I’ll post pics when completed.

go 15mm all around (what I did) . 12mm is too small .

some people put 20mm up front to make it super flush.

Agree 15mm all round will be perfect on kw has, but different ball game non lowered.

Here’s 15mm up front non lowered. IMO max, Non lowered. Yes I think 20mm non lowered at the front would stick out to much........

26 & three eight inches, through centre of hub to arch radius; from ground.
This will change again with front lowered, hence the flexibility of HAS.
