W205 C63 EXHAUST.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of replacing the OEM exhaust for something better, any advice ? FiExhaust, IPE, Brabus ? what's the best out there for a W205 C63 ? all the vids on youtube are mostly of older versions.
Since my regular C63 didn't come with the exhaust valve opener button, I have to set it to S+ too get it to roar !!! want to keep the AMG crackles and pops.....
Thanx in advance.

Im having a local shop this Tuesday create a custom exhaust replacing the piping and mufflers for the exact same reason. Im still torn about downpipes so I figured id try this first.

Best aftermarket I’ve seen for the C63/C63s is the AWE track exhaust and the Armytrix valved exhaust.

The Armytrix Valved exhaust is great. If anyone is interested i have one (used for less than 600km on a C63S demo car) with almost 40% discount

With the exhaust in Sport+ and the engine in Comfort or Sport there are no pops. Both need to be in Sport+. Your new exhaust will be louder but you'll still only get pops when the engine is Sport+

Just FYI

Just FYI
He was meaning the engine set to sport+ because the standard exhaust doesn’t have any setting adjustment options. The idle rpm increase when the engine is in sport+ which makes it sound louder at idle and gives more aggressive bliped downshifts, plus incorporates the pops as you mentioned.

I got a used AWE Track and just installed it a few days ago. It sounds good but it does Drone, as it should if you think about it, it’s really just a Straight Pipe with NO Mufflers. I knew that may be the case prior to purchasing, but I knew I had options. I like it loud when I want it to be, but NOT ALL the time.

My options were to 1, return back to stock and sell the Track.

Or, 2, what I think I’m planning to try to try to resolve this is try to look behind Door #2. AWE has another exhaust called the SwitchPath and if you already have a Track Version, they sell a “SwitchPath Conversion Kit”. I had the Non Performance Exhaust Prior.

So this adds a new Rear Section with Mufflers to your Track set Up, has 2 remote key fobs to open and close exhaust valves, and wire harness to accomplish this.

Press the Fob, Open the Valves and it’s a Track like what I have now. Close Valves and the exhaust is routed through the Mufflers and I was told this should all but eliminate any drone.

SwitchPath with Valves Closed is still a little Louder than the stock exhaust and some may like this sound.

MY reason for getting this is I want ant to be able to close the valves and have a relaxing ride when I want to, or when co workers are around, and want to have a Mercedes that still has some level of refinement when I want that. The MAIN reason over all this however, is the Drone. If I can eliminate or substantially minimize drone with the AWE SP, when I want, I’ll be extremely happy.

it's more about downpipes. they would give more bang for the back compared to the money you would spent on exhaust.
