2010 Audi A5 3.2 FSI, 2016 MB GLE Coupe 450 AMG, 2019 MB C63S AMG
The animation of the headlights is also on cars with the normal analog gauges, albeit only on the smaller screen between the gauges.. It does it on my 2015 C63S, and my screen shows it. But like described above, I get the "Don't Forget Your Key" message 95% of the time instead. In the nearly 4 years I've had my car I've yet to figure out exactly what triggers which screen.
Oh Wow! Had no idea that an older model, especially with the Analog Gauges has the animation. I believe I got mine to show the animation even after opening the door like the Frist day I got the car. But at that point I did no really pay attention to any of this and I have no clue how I got it to work.

Well the animation is there and it does exist. If you sit in the car and lock yourself with the key, then unlock the car while sitting it it, and instead of opening the door click on the ignition button, you’ll see the animation. It’s the door that is the problem, the second you open it it throws that warning at you. No idea how to get this to work
Not going to lie, I didn't understand why the animation was a big deal at first until I saw it for the first time today and it's actually pretty awesome.
Honestly, I think this could probably be easily programmed using the OBD port.

This is a pic from my 19 c63, i hate it that i can’t see it because of that stupid “don’t forget your key” message that honestly doesn’t make sense sisnce im barely opening the door...

Did anyone figure out a solution for this?
When i picked the car up from the dealer (in canada) the animation popped up, but since then I’ve never seen it again, i get the same key message. That animation is so nice, I’d love to see it everytime i get in.

Hey Guys, I assume a lot more people got their C63S Delivered since I originally opened the thread. Did someone ever found a way to fix this issue? Looks Like US and Canada Cars skip the animation.

In short, the startup process for me is:
The animation may go away after sometime of not doing anything, but I haven't sat in the car not doing anything for a period of time yet, so don't know if that's the case
- Open car door
- Sit down
- Screen turns on with no animation yet
- Close car door
- Animation comes on screen
- Animation lasts until I press the engine button

Thank you so much for sharing with us! I think the reason you are seeing it every time is because you are not in US or Canada. The software on the car may be different. So far every single person that own the 2019 C63S that I’ve talked to in US, have their animation skipped, and it is being disrupted by the most annoying message “Do not forget your keys” and a stupid sounds that follows that message...

Have the same exact thing here. The animation is getting disrupted by this dumb F’ING message about the keys as soon as I open the door. Why would i forget my keys in the car, if i haven’t gotten into the car yet... Logic from MBUSA on another level here...

Did anyone figure this out? I’ve been looking everywhere, can’t seem to find a solution. Seems like a software bug where they don’t check to see if you are entering or exiting the car. On entry (when the car was off for a while, it was just unlocked and no key was detected inside) it shouldn’t ask you to remember your key. Only when you are leaving (turned off the car and open the door) should it baby sit you.
