Opinion On Wheels?
All, I'm a newbie to this forum. Purchased my C63 a year ago and am tired of the stock wheels. What to get your opinions on the Ferrada F8 FR5 wheels, graphite or silver? Thanks for your help.

First of all, I like the stock wheels from last year, much better than the 2019 stock 18's. The Ferrada's are a nice choice as well...hard to go wrong with a split 5 spoke design. The silver will work together with the silver trim on the car, the graphite will give it a bit more sporty flair. I like the contrast so I vote silver.

I agree, your stock wheels are the bomb!
Please let us know if you go with the Ferrada (very nice wheels, by the way) and decide to put your stock wheels up for sale. I'm sure there will be many takers.

Thank you all for your feedback.
I really like the look of the stock rims, but one of the main reasons why I was considering a larger rim is to squeeze a wider PS4S tire in the rear. I am going to do a Dinan tune this spring and wanted more rubber to hook up better. Did some searches and came to the conclusion that I should be able put a 285/35/18 tire in the rears. That would give me about 1.5 cm extra rubber, that should help.
You all have been great.

The stock size tire on my rear is 265/40/18. Going larger will just give me more contact surface.

That's odd...unless you're wearing a non Amg wheel...those rears are 10.5 wide...and come with 285 from factory...and will safely fit a 295 and /or 305. I have the same on my cabriolet. Unfortunately in 18" 285 is the biggest ps4s they make, 295 in pss.

Sedans will easily fit a 285 with no problem and you can squeeze a 295 on as well .Some have squeezed 305 but the offset has to be right and it will rub at times
