Considering 2019 C63S, what are the best incentives or % off people are getting?
I have a C63 and have been getting the generic letter from my dealer to trade up to a new C63S. I have not been interested in leaving my beloved W204, but I now have 4 cars out of warranty, and my wife does not want an AMG without a warranty (I can live with that). I have to admit that I am not very good at negotiating for cars because I have only had to negotiate on one car in the past (my current C63), as I have used auto brokers, Costco auto buying program, or my brother worked at the dealership.
The dealer offer letter is stating a discount of $5,229 ($4,729 from dealer and $500 Mercedes Allowance bonus), which would come to 5.9% off MSRP for the C63S optioned how I want (MSRP $87,600). This alone looks like a reasonable offer, as it seems like many people are negotiating around 4%-6% off MSRP.
I am also a member of USAA and AMA, which offer Fleet Discounts. It looks like these are discounts, rather than a special price, and it is handled independent of the final purchase price. Is this correct? Has anyone combined Fleet Discounts?
USAA has a buying service (might be through True Car) - has anyone gotten a better deal using this service? The only reason I ask is because I can get 0.5% off my APR for a loan if I use this service.
Does anyone know if the $500 AMG Loyalty Certificate can be combined with the other offers, before my dealer tries to deny?
