so i wanted to thank everyone first who gave me help and advice, really means alot. huge update. So i took it to elite motors in lodi nj and i told them my story. Got a guy who actually pretty reputable in the bmw forums to work on installing my tune. like i said originally the tune i got it for 1k and it wasnt perfect but it was working when he had it and one problem was the tab which i provided in the pics and these were pics on his ebay listing. first oh boy what elite told me today disturb me alot. He didnt know what he was doing basically and caused basically bigger issues to my car. attach is my nice hefty bill. then the "friend" who told me to go to the bmw guy to get it installed was also the guy who took out the tune from my car without ever telling me. I wanted to at least take it how it was instlled to elite so i can know who to really blame. Most of the problems are listed in the bill and now i will be basically returning this dinan tune and either buying a new one or just going OBD2. at this point the amount of money i spent on installation and basically having my car back to stock is about the price of a OBD2 tune.
Elite motors in nj also said that for them to repair the tab and test out the tune and install it will be another 1k which i honestly don't want them to do because they are extremely expensive in my opinion. I will be going to DMEtuning next week.
I feel your pains. Great mods !! Bad installer. Installation were super important to me. It was the main reason why I decided not to go with JB4 because they couldn’t recommended me an installer in their area. I went with Dinan because I found AutoTalent done many installation before. Good luck.
Remove the piggyback and just take it into a mod friendly dealer and ask them to reset all the codes and install any updates if they have any available. There was one for 2017 cars for the trans.
The reset and update to stock software should put your car back to normal. Then if you're looking to tune take it to any tuner close to you, i'd go to DMEtuning personally, but have also heard great thinks about labworkx as mentioned above.

Thanks you because of my impatience really which got me in trouble. Also Dinan really needs to update those instructions or maybe they do that on purpose lol to make u go authorized.
Is Dinan really much different installing than JB4? Those instructions are out there (granted, still no video which baffles me).
At the end of the day, it’s four plugs and some zip ties...not rebuilding and engine here
i did my research about different tunes and maybe its because i used dinan in the past on bmw so i have a little bias towards them because for mercedes for me its been a pain. jb4 i wouldnt really used them from a few problems i heard and like you said im also surprised there no video for it.
The elite work summary says there are still fault codes appearing even though they fixed the sensors that were plugged into the wrong places. What codes are they and did they tell you what is wrong?

It wasn’t a check engine light or anything. Basically going on what a member also said he did ask if the car was tune before I said no because he said something about the tranny which I forgot honestly I will double check today

OP I'd personally ditch the piggyback and get a real ECU flash tune. Just my .02.
This issue have nothing to do with the Product. This is what happen when installed by a weekend mechanic BMW owner. I bet you can google all day and won’t find one Dinan piggyback tuned on the C63s installed by an Dinan authorized shop with issues.

Of course I will admit it I made the wrong choice which led me to spending more money than originally planned. I was impatient and just also wanted to see if there WAS any problem with the tune. I wanted to get it installed before the 30 day money back guarantee from eBay ended too. The person who I got the tune said the instructions was online but i believe the instructions should at least be updated at least because he was the one who also installed it by himself

No im on the east coast we were talking about dme tuning. Someone told me to go there but when I call they said that they don’t install other tunes but their owns sorry for the confusion

I never said it was Dinan's fault. I'm saying ECU flashing is the way to go over piggyback in general.
so after the bill you saw, autotalent hit me up. will be doing another update soon on the tune. i ended up buying a new dinan unit but right before auto talent told me about dme tuning and after some thought and other members telling me about it, i went through with it. I got it install today in fair lawn NJ by mo. Literally few hours after i got the tune got pulled over and slapped with 5 tickets . will for sure be reviewing the tune but my car in race sounds like gun shots.
