Help. Is this normal?

can t understand why is that symbol red. The temperature reading below its normal. Anyone ever seen this?

I drove very slow for 90 mins, like 55/60mph. Then in the last 2/3 miles i start playing with motor in Race, and just pushed some 2nd and 3rd gears until 6000rpm.

No sign show Up. Everything seemed normal, but when i changed from supersport to classic Display i noticed it was red, but with temperature reading alright.

Are you talking about the red coolant symbol? I’ll check mine to see the color.

wait! Mine is the same when I turn on ignition but not the engine. That’s a self test where all the warning lights are lit and normal.

Before I took delivery of my C63S my SA said they are holding the car for a a day or two because there was a oil sensor that needed to be changed and they were waiting for the part to come in. I suspect there might be recall on this part and that may explain why your getting this conflicting temp indications. Bring the car in to have this out checked and to see if there is a recall or service bulletin related to this. Please let us know what you find out.

The start up issue is simply this; As I've seen on most cars, all warning indicators light up for a couple of seconds at startup. In older cars the purpose of this is a test to show if any incandescent warning bulbs were burnt out. Today's car still do an initial test but I believe it's more sophisticated and it does a self test of the computer and warning sensors as well as a bulb check.

If the engine was too hot wouldn't the engine and/or transmission graphic be red? Mine is blue for the first 5-10 minutes of driving then gradually turns white as it warms up. I don't believe I've gotten anything hot enough to show red so far so I can't say for sure. I need to see what the manual says about that.
