19 c63s sedan



Two videos of my noise with the steering. If anyone has any thoughts let me know

 

 

Of course it not normal. My little Honda Fit w’ 250k miles doesn’t even make any noise when turning. But sad to say, mine C63s does sometime make those noise. I think it got worse since lowered. It doesn’t really bother me but for $100K car, expect better quality.

 

So you're saying I shouldn't take it into the dealer?

 

This is not normal and should be taken to the dealership. My 2016 C63S doesn't make this noise and hasn't in the 34k miles I've put on it. Im at stock ride height and nothing modified in the suspension/steering.

my steering had "locked itself", that being said your's doesn't do that if the steering wheel locks?

 

I will have to double check to be 100% sure but Im 98% sure my car hasn't made that noise. Will check back later this evening.

 

It's brand new. Always take it to the dealer. You spent a lot of money.

 

I did and was told it was normal and it probably was the tires I was heading.. I call b/s

 

Forgot to update apologies. I hear the parts moving when i shutter the wheel like you are but not the loud clunk that is in your video. Is there another dealer by you that can give a second opinion?

 

I have a '17 coupe w/ 28k and lowered... doesn't make that noise
