Extreme Tire Wear due to toe-in
I had a 2009 (previous gen W204) C63 sedan that was a great car but had serious issues with tire wear due to excess toe-in at factory specs, regardless of driving style. Fronts would wear out in less than 10K miles even with mostly highway driving and no hooning. Don't even ask about the rears (OEM tires lasted 4K miles). I drive about 25K miles per year so this could get costly, and it was a constant battle to get alignment right to avoid these issues. So...my question is...does the W205 also have this problem or did they make it more user friendly as a daily driver? I totally understand that if driven hard the rears will wear quickly, and rears will always last about half as long as the fronts. My question really pertains to whether the tires now last a reasonable amount of time when used for freeway/high-mileage driving. Any folks out there who use their C63 as a daily driver and can comment on this? I've ordered a 2020 Coupe and I am willing to put up with this issue if needed, just want to know what to expect and hoping they made it better this time around. If there are other threads that address this I couldn't find them. Thanks for any input guys.

I have a 2017 S Sedan, and haven't had too much of an issue. I'm at about 18k, and am just now having to change the tires. I haven't tracked it or anything, and most of the miles are highway.

Thanks. I can certainly live with 18-20K between tire changes. That's about what I'm getting on my M4 now. The next four months of waiting (or more depending on port release dates, etc.) are going to be hell. Can't wait to have a V8 again, even if it isn't NA.

I also had a W204, and know what you're talking about (incidentally, if I recall the story correctly, the tech manual gave a fairly wide range for acceptable toe numbers. I recall bringing my car to a specialist, who dialed it in so it JUST hit the low end of the range, and tire wear improved dramatically).
But to answer your question: this car doesn't eat tires nearly as quickly as the W204. I replaced my F/R at 25k, and only because there was a good promotion from Michelin and I wanted to try the Pilot 4S. I probably could have gotten another 5k out of mine (I have dedicated snows, so winter driving is not an issue).

Same here. My car came stock with the PSS, and the PS4s blow them out of the water, in my opinion.

25k on mine and still got 7/32 and 6/32 on front and rears respectively.
