Choice.... looking for advice

So, I currently own a 2018 C238 E400 coupe, with 17,000kms on it.
My local dealership called me and told me they have a 2017 C63s Coupe with 30,000kms coming in that they would basically trade straight up for my E400.

Would you guys do it? Opinions? If yes, why? If no, why?

Thanks guys, I'm kind of torn with what to do....

Cheers
M

Yes, I would do the trade. But, I would negotiate a much better deal.

Only thing I add is that the e will probably hold value a bit better than the C.

True but we’re talking about the C63s. No way better then AMG.

To me an E400 is just another normal looking Mercedes. As for an AMG ... if I have to tell you then you don’t know anything about Mercedes!!!

I think for me it would come down to driving preferences as they are completely different cars. The E coupe is really nice to drive and has some minor comforts you wont find in any C class. The C63 will feel a bit smaller and more nimble and of course that beast of an engine makes it a completely different experience on the road. As others said definitely see what sort of deal they can make you but if it were me, I'd bite haha.

I just check Autotrader 2018 E400 with similar mileages price sound $45k. No way you can find any use C63s coupe less the $60k !!!

You'd be surprised. Again, my E is a 2018, the dealership will be getting a 2017 C63S coupe off lease, with a $55,000 CAD residual value remaining, which they are willing to trade me for my C238.

Oh don’t get me wrong. The OP asks if we would do it. In a heartbeat. I could care less about the resale value when this car brings so much joy and giggles to my day.
