I ordered a sedan back in June. Was told the build date will be 9/11 - 9/20 and it takes 6 weeks to get to the SF Bay Area. Negotiated 8% off from a dealership in Ohio that's having it delivered here. Every weekend I'm struggling to not buy something I can have now, going to look at a 2019 C63s with close to the same options today.

Looks like our cars were on the production line the same day Dasani. Hopefully we get to pick them up around the same time as well.

MB needs to fire whoever is in charge of their configurators. Don't know about the Candian one, but the USA one is garbage and the German one is wrong. It shows the wrong side blades. It shows the standard CF side blades if you add the Aero package, and the rear diffuser is shown in gloss black instead of carbon. Don't go by any of what you see on them. The DOG is probably the best source and it does indeed specifically say now that only the A-wing and rear apron are CF in combination with the Aero package. Just like the 2019s turned out to be built.

I was able to negotiate 7% off of MSRP. I got an email today that my car is also in Baltimore but he does not have an ETA when it will be at the dealer. It is a 2020 C63s cabriolet so there is no issue with aero package as that is not available on the cab.

What state/region are you in? Honestly I've been thinking about backing out of my order because of a few packages I wanted to change. But I wont be able to order again from the same dealer and other dealers laugh when I mention a discount on an order.

I am outside of Chicago. I used the 7% number based on information from this forum. I do plan on trading in an Audi RS5 and I was able to secure a trade-in price for that in advance while I waited for the C 63S to come in. It is certainly reasonable that I could’ve made more money on the trade-in and as usual the dealer will make money on the trade in and some of that 7% may go into that. That is always part of the game. Other than that I simply made it known that I was a serious buyer who is willing to place an order and wait for it and so far it has worked out.

Likely a bunch of Hyundais and Kias. Appears crew members are mostly South Korean.

And it was bound for Baltimore, so it was going the other way. Vehicle carriers from Europe stop in Baltimore first and then Brunswick and then head for the Panama Channel. This one came from the Pacific/Panama Channel.

ordered 2020 c63s coupe
Just received word that my 2020 C63S coupe, which has been sitting in Brunswick, GA for ten days, will not be delivered until October due to the impending release of the 2020 models.
Really? I am just now beginning to understand the frustration of all you guys that have been waiting so long for your cars. Sent a letter to national MB about it and I am sure I will be called within the hour for them to apologize for the problem and deliver it to my door.

Hmmm...if you search these forums, October time frame was always the case. Also, I've confirmed this with the AMG rep since my car came over with a bunch of 2020s and I mentioned this in several posts. The new MY has to go through quality checks and it's just the official release date for 2020MY. Consider yourself fortunate that you only have to wait until October (supposedly). I've had to wait much longer...I'm sure MBZ won't have the same delays with MY2020 that they had with MY2019.

As long as mine arrives before Dec 31 - Illinois is getting rid of the trade in tax benefit for 2020. Thank you Pritzker.

Hi! New on the forum. I ordered a 2020 C63S on August 30th, and was emailed within a few days saying that it would go to production during decade 2 of September (any day now) and would arrive at the dealership by mid-October. Seems really fast after reading this thread, but I'm hopeful! So ready for it to be here.

Just got updated by the dealership. Mine should arrived at the dealer on Oct 11 in Vancouver, the delay due to one vessel in fact had mechanical issues so the whole lot had been on hold! Hope everyone will get yours one around the same time!

So my salesman upddated me that my vehicle is going into production within the next week and a half, and it should be here in 45 days. Sounds like your dealer had an earlier allocation than I did.

By ordered, you mean you were able to pick out the options? That close to the build? Mine was supposed to be built beginning of September (haven't heard any update), but I tired to change the order months ago and was told it was not possible.

Correct! I built the car with the salesman and paid my deposit. The following week he emailed me with the production decade. Haven’t yet heard that it’s officially gone to production though.

Been trying to get an update but no news at this point. Same status as before. Hoping to hear more this week from a corporate sales rep.

I’m hoping to hear from the corporate sales rep as well, ordered my C63S Coupe in June. was produced on sep 2 and arrived at port on sep 10 but haven’t been assigned to a ship yet. Till today still no update, the car is still sitting at port. The sales rep told me a c63 was in production on Aug15, my car production date was on Aug28. The c63 was expected to arrive on Sep20 and he told me my c63s should arrive by the end of this month or the first week of October. But since I haven’t got any updates on when my vehicle will be assigned to a ship or when it will be shipped, doesn’t look like it will arrive as the sales rep said 🙃

I got a call back today and now being told end of october or early november. Another week or two they should have a more solid date. My aero pack parts have been sitting at the dealership for a couple weeks now, they told me 2-3 days to install after the car is released to them.

I wasn't aware the Aero Package was a dealer-installed option but that's good to know. I assume then all the other carbon fiber exterior options are also installed at the dealership?
