2020 C63 Deliveries
#176
I have a car that was released to carrier at the Baltimore VPC last week and my dealer, 40 miles away in Lancaster PA has still not bothered to call with a dealer ETA. Getting pretty tired of having to reach out to them. Aren't I, like, the customer or something? I've gotten more solid intel from this forum than I have from my SA. Not impressed with dealership.
Must be a pa thing - my dealer has been terrible at communication throughout this process. I constantly have to ask.

One of you mentioned looking at something else and not possibly waiting for your order. I felt the same way. A few times I've seen another C63S but they were the wrong color, no carbon fiber pieces, wrong wheels.... I finally decided to just wait on the one I custom ordered. It will have been unique and bulilt to my spec; not something I found on a lot.
I remember ordering an e36 M3 coupe in 1995 when they first came out. Hellrot Red, black Vader seats, 5 speed and an 'on-board computer' (it would tell you your mpg, range, etc.). Once I got the VIN, every day I would drive by the dealership looking for anything red... Then, finally got the call. Kept her for 6 years and sold it to a BMW mechanic. Well worth the wait.

Thank you and fingers crossed you get some answers soon!! The wait feels like forever, but it really is so worth it once it gets here. Keep us posted!

Congrats! Looks nice! Your spec is almost identical as mine. I got grey accent sits. Mine hasn't built yet... the wait is killing me already with all this recent pick ups XD

Hey all you lucky dogs.....what tires are on the 2020s? Still PSS or did they switch to PS4s? Mine should be at dealer next week. Getting pretty excited about FINALLY getting to drive her, and I haven't waited nearly as long as some of you guys have. Ordered in July and built last week of September.

Those are the standard AMG seats. I'm probably the only guy on the forum who isn't fond of the look of the performance seats. Not real keen on carbon fiber, either. But that means the cars I order end up being a bit unique. Just personal preference.

Curious if those of you who have received or are soon to receive your vehicles are buying or leasing. I'm still trying to decide - I think the residual on a 36 month/10k lease is 50%, which is disgusting. And I think the money factor will translate to an APR of around 6%. These numbers make me think buying is the way to go, but wondering if others have different thoughts.

Buying was definitely the way to go for me. I was able to get 3.1% APR for 4 years financing which reinforced that decision. I plan on keeping the car a long time, but even if I were to sell at 4 years with ~40k miles, I would have made out better financially than going the lease route with that terrible residual.
