Oil Level Sensor
Had the “add one litre at next refuelling” message come up a couple of times in the first 1500 miles in my 2019. Oil level was fine and the message disappears upon acknowledgment.
It only appeared after a long time in stop start traffic.
I reported it to the dealer and they have a fill level sensor ready to fit.
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I think I read if it somewhere.
How big a job is changing the sensor? They say they need the car all day. I don’t really want them tearing the motor down .

I've had this several times too on my '16, as have others. My dealer gave me a "could not reproduce". I don't know exactly where the sensor is located, but I can't imagine any way they're "tearing the engine down" to get to it.
