Parking sensor warning tone volume/pitch

I agree with you that it is not easy to figure out which edge/part of your car is close to an object, and how close. I had to park on a steep downhill slope and I took the careful effort to keep good distance from the right hand side curb. The top view was useful but required extra careful attention. I parked extra close to the curb that I needed to because of not being able to judge accurately using the top view. I had however turned the wheels towards the curb since it was on the slope.
When I came back, there was no car in front of mine when taking my car out. I forgot about the turned steering wheel, let go off the brake (without turning the steering wheel) and I curb-rashed my front right wheel. This was still my fault technically, and learnt a good lesson to always leave extra space from the curb while parking, even if I need to spend a few extra minutes re-parking.
