Are you having any clutch slipping issues in 3rd-4th? Bc that's a distinctive feature of EC's tune.

idk if its clutch slipping but i do get kind of a slow shift on wot 3 to 4 shift in auto mode.

How can you not? WOT, rpms climbing but car not lunging forward like it should be, then suddenly clutches engage and you feel the push.

So.....uploaded a new file. car drove fine not as fast as it could be but it was better power delivery seemed smoother across the powerband.
then BOOM this morning driving to work car goes into limp mode and dies all types of warnings and constant CEL with rough idle. i restarted car and it seemed to run fine, i made it to work but the CEL persists. Emailed jerry i am awaiting an answer

ps. yes i know i should scan for code i will do that later today and report back.

I'd urge you to flash back to stock, and clear all codes. I wouldn't let any EC tune touch my car.

Eurocharged is crap. Get rid of the tune and most likely your problems will go away.

I'm surprised no one has pointed out your tuned mph at the drag strip/draggy. I think you should be closer to 120ish mph bone stock and with the tune you were seeing 115-117mph. That alone should tell you something is wrong.

Need a JB4 on there to data log what you have and fine tune it as needed. Lowering boost in 1st gear via the JB4 would help the launch a lot too!

That is terrible, and looks like might be heatsoak or something. If you had a JB4 you could have a log of it to evaluate ... I bet your timing was pulled hard.
The dyno with Eurocharged reflected numbers just a few hp over stock and the graph lines were wavy. After Renntech my hp is 660 and torque 640. This is with turbo's, ecu tune, and catless downpipes. The dyno graph lines were steady, reflecting smooth power and torque. I'm going to the drag strip today and will post my numbers. I have not raced the car until today.

That torque curve looks like they just cranked the target boost and didn't touch anything else.

So ive decided to go with openflash,

i know they dont have much history with tuning AMG's but i spoke to the owner shiv who is doing development on his own personal AMG GT and he seems quite knowledgeable. Also i like the functionality with the tablet. You can monitor the car and pull logs as well as flash different maps. Device with ots maps should be here on friday. ill update when i flash the new tune.

Shiv is a very, very talented tuner. He can be abrasive and rubs some people the wrong way, but he has been tuning turbo cars going back 20 years. There is a well known tuner on this forum who didn't know how to tune turbocharged European cars until Shiv taught him.

So Open Flash sent me their tablet with a stage 1 tune.
i have to say i am very impressed. the car pulls harder on top like i wanted. i just tested my draggy and it did 60-130 in 8.86 seconds which is faster than the car has gone on my previous tunes. With better traction i think i can get that time down some more
i recommend this to anyone looking for the best bang for your buck.
I paid $999.00 for tablet and i get the ots maps included and free updates for life.
Shiv, the owner and tuner at OFP offers custom etuning as well for $295.00 which i will def be doing soon to get closer to my 7.5 sec 60-130 goal.

Additionally the tablet gives you a full gauge setup so you can monitor your car and you can pull your logs on it too

Sorry to hear you feel that way as we maintain a positive relationship with most of the major tuners in this market. Been doing this since 2007 and seen Shiv & Co come and go from many platforms. The information is out there for those that care to look for it. He's a talented guy and has a silver tongue when it comes time to make the sale and get those first couple of positive forum reviews. But don't say you haven't been warned.
