yes I've done this before and i get the crackles and burble for longer. I used to do this all the time on my 335 n54 with burble mod and it would go NUTS!

It works, but no where near the SVR level. I got a burble tune a couple days ago and now it sounds like AK-47 when my car decelerates.

I’m confused on how this works. Do you leave it in a specific gear in manual mode? Are you coasting / slowing down? Around what range of RPM to tap the throttle?

you don't get burbles using the straight pipes strategy. You actually need a burble tune to do what the Jaguar is doing. Our cars stock (preface lift) will do like 1 or 2 pops but that's it. You want continuous pops, you will need a burble tune.
