I found a nicely configured 2020 C63s coupe in MB Oakville and they are asking 7k above MSRP. I did not want to talk further and went on my way. I am just wondering if this how it is for this car? Or these guys are just playing the field? I personally would expect atleast a 5% discount on a custom order.

This isn't a GT3RS. Nobody is lining up to buy these. At least 6% if not way more for something already on the lot. All of our local MB dealers in TX have ~10 C63's in inventory and I bet the deals are great

very well below. It was their cost plus $50. Family member of a Group1Auto employee. We went to a G1A dealership and ordered it that way. They made virtually no money on the deal. A 7/100 warranty cost us ~$1500.

Good you walked. $7000 CAD above MSRP? Tell MB Oakville to stick it up their a*ses.
You're the buyer, you call the shots. There's always another dealer or seller who will want to offer you a discount off the MSRP if you take their car (not the other way around).

may I suggest.... Last September, I decided I wanted a Porsche Macan Turbo. There were specific options I wanted. I went online, searched and found one. In Ohio. I’m in Houston. It had 13 miles on it. Bought it over the phone. They delivered it to my home one week later in an enclosed carrier.


It just happened to be in red with a few more options that sweetened the deal. Shop around.

i got my 2020 coupe with a great discount. i have a great relationship with my salesman and i also used to work at the dealership. almost invoice. i don’t live in Canada, but i wouldn’t pay over MSRP even if i did.
