SD Card Navigation for 2020 models

SD Card Navigation for 2020 models
I recently took ownership of my 2020 C63s, and rather than get the multimedia package just for Nav (I used my phone anyway), had the pre-wire for SD Nav. It looks like all the current SD Nav cards are for pre-FL models, and I am not finding any ones for the 2020 C63. Has anyone used any of the aftermarket SD Nav cards for the FL models?
I get that using the Android Auto is probably better, but I just want to have a plan B in case of problems or my wife does not want to hook in her iPhone.

Yes I have a 2019 FL C63S and I have the SD Card Nav pre-wired instead of the Multimedia/Nav package.
You will want the SD card with the part number A2139069807. If you want to skip the dealer and get the SD card at a fraction of the dealer's pricing you should be able to find one on eBay for less than $60. Ensure that it's an unused SD card. You can also contact the seller before the purchase with your VIN to confirm compatibility before placing the order. I purchased this item and can confirm that it works on my 2019 C63S. At the same time note that the update is unlikely to work even though it says 60 days of free updates. I use the SD card only as a backup, since I rely on Waze / Google Maps using Android Auto as primary.
Also be aware that there have been few sellers on eBay who sell fakes which fail at the time of activation. A given Nav SD card gets paired with the head unit at the time of activation, and cannot be used on another car after that. Each SD card has a unique CID (Card ID) as well which is part of this signature and pairing/activation.

Okay so I've been contemplating getting a cheapo SD card, and then following these instructions:

Which point to using a software manager that can be installed here:

I'm thinking this could be a cheap ($15) thing I could do to get navigation working on my FL C63. I haven't gone through it yet, but my only concern is the `en-gb` which makes it look like it applies only for Great Britain? Has anyone perhaps done this for the US market before? Thoughts?

I have a 2020 C43 with Audio 20 Radio Code 506 Navigation Capable but I don’t have Code 355 PreWire which is confusing. Also when I press the Nav button there is no message. Nothing. I appreciate any assistance.

You’re welcome. not sure if he lied or was misinformed. Either way the SD Card slot is useless without that option code which was $300.

Unfortunately nothing can be done. You would think based on the price point of these cars they would have some form of Navigation other than CarPlay.

Hello Fellow MB Owners:
I just purchased a preowned C300 model year 2020 from a dealer. On the screen it says there is Navigation so I am trying to find out which SD card I can buy from Amazon or Garmin that will work. Does anyone know? All I have is a Part # from the dealership's service department. I wanted to use this as a backup to Waze and Google Maps just in case.
