thanks. i’m convinced that’s the correct part. interestingly it seems to be heated. presumably to stop it icing up

It looks like the right part (thanks Japamg), but I've learned that grills on this car seem to be a crapshoot. If it fits I'll be happy

cks are now saying in their website part no a0008880000 distronic star is needed with the grille. that is not the number for the star they have been selling with the grille!

I got all the parts long time ago from https://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/ so don’t remember how much it was

They do not deliver to the US I think
