BMW M2 CS
Hi guys
Yes I know, this is an AMG forum, also I know, not comparable cars, but try to be objective 😬
Would you change the c63s coupe for the M2 CS?

NO way in hell!!!! It's small inside.. The interior/exterior SUCKS compared to the facelift c63s or even the non facelift and I don't even see how it's debatable. The wheel base is soo short it's tough to add more power and actually have it be usable power. a HUGE 25k bump in price and all you get is 39hp, some carbon fiber reinforced plastic, adaptive dampers and a few cosmetic changes so you know its a cs.. that is a total joke.

2020 AMG GTC Coupe & 2018 Macan Turbo
My favorite was the BMW e46 M3C w/6 speed manual. I was fortunate to have owned three of them. All convertibles. All manuals. Put that top down and row that box!

M2 isn't a comparable platform and imo never looked right. It's got chubby looking proportions and it's not a pretty car.
The better question is, C63S or 718 GT4?

The C63S coupe is a highway bruiser. Almost made for the autobahn or track. It loves speed. The 718 is for canyon carving and places like Tail-of-the-Dragon. IMO....

No, I wouldn't remotely trade the C63S Coupe for an M2, CS or not. The M2 is a great car. Arguably the best M of the current crop hailing back to the E46, doing away with all the bloat of the current M3/4. However, the C63S is a GT and as GTs go it's made for high speed long distance driving in relative comfort with sports car like handling should that fun road present itself along the way. It's a luxurious, relatively comfortable daily with plenty of creature comfort and luxuries such as driving assistance features etc., an amazing long distance cruiser at any speed (I can attest to that having had the pleasure of cruising on the German Autobahn at very high speeds for long distances) as well as a weekend canyon carver. It's a great all-rounder offering luxury and performance. Plenty of room for gear on a weekend out of town or a road trip in general and you can still seat two adults in the rear to give a couple of friends a ride. The M2 is great in the performance department compared to the C63, but lacks everywhere else. It's small, and doesn't offer the luxuries the C63 does. Especially the CS is meant to be closer to a sports car in the spirit of what the AMG Black Series cars are essentially.

We've got a variety of cars including an M2C, M4, F90 M5, Alfa QV, etc. The C63 is up there in terms of performance and handling IMHO.

As you said yourself, the 2 cars are not comparable. You ask us to ignore the obvious objective facts but remain objective.
The logical comparison would be the BMW M4.

Recently cross shopping these surprisingly... and the C63s engine / sound undoubtedly better and better GT style car but M2C surprisingly has better rear seat space, head room and boot volume (comparing coupes at least) actually.
