Those of you with car seats.....

The ones with car seats, what have you done to avoid the rubbing and scraping on the back of the front seat? I’ve used a thick wash cloth but looks ghetto. So now I’m using a pool noodle that I’ve cut to size and down the center 🤪 still bad looking but a little better.

😆

very true, I bought the sedan thinking it’ll be big enough, the mother of my daughter is 5 foot and says it’s cramped for her 🤣

I've never put them rear facing.

I bought seat covers for my front seats. Also protects the bolster stitching

You could try moving the car seat to the centre of the back seat, gives you a bit more room between the front seats

I have her rear facing because her age but she’s about 2 now and I can start moving her around. And I could also try the middle seat and see how that works 👍🏻

Middle seat is the answer. Safer anyway.

+1

Side note, trying to remember from when my kids were that age a few years ago... but can't you switch to front facing soon if not already?

at 2, you can have them facing frontwards. My daughter sits behind the passenger seat.

My son drives himself everywhere now. So glad I don’t need to worry about hauling babies around anymore. My C63 is definitely not suitable for that.

yeah, nice to ride together with your son ...but always have happy memories hauling those seats around. Now they haul themselves

rear facing is up to 40 percent safer in a forward collision.

some retailers sell full seat covers so dirty kids shoes dont ruin the seat and also they protect from the car seat itself

I better got a cover for the back of the front seat too

Look decent with AMG logo, bit pricey though.

Thats weird, did everyone buy these or something? They were 50-60 quid for two, now they are 150 and the ones in the link i put up have sold out!

COVID-19 as people try to cover their seats or simple price manipulation due to higher demand?

My kids love to ride in my "fast car." My youngest (age 4) is still in a front-facing seat. The dirty-shoe kick marks on the back of the passenger seat are annoying, but I love my kids and that's a pretty minor issue to have to put up with.
