Forgive me if this has already been asked...but has anyone seen or heard anything about flex fuel kits for our platform? I reached out to a friend at eurocharged who said nothing he was aware of...

Anyone? Thanks in advance!

The JB4 supports the Fuel-IT E85 sensor but I'm not sure if they have a C63 specific kit yet. Customers running it have just rigged their own I think. I'll check with Fuel-IT to see.

I’ve got one from spool performance I got with my upgraded HPFP”s (I still have todo the install) it only gives a readout of E content to an app on you phone so it’s very simple but that’s all I’m aware of that’s on the market so far

The HPFP”s are only required if you want to run over E30 and high boost, the stock HPFP”s start running out of puff around 20psi without a water meth system on the car.
I’m building my car for 100-200kmh runs so want to to run highly oxygenated race fuel which is often E30+
So far what I’ve done is
YP4 Turbos ( only fitted them last week and yabeela left out some fittings so I’m stuck until the 16th when everything reopens again)
Aquamist water meth system
Weistec intakes
Weistec built trans
Turbosmart blow off valves
CSF intercooler radiator
Catless downpipes
JB4 for logging the watermeth
Spool performance HPFP”s , they are shutdown currently so will only get the final parts for the kit todo the install in the next 2-3 weeks.

Kevin is the only one who touches my car, so I hear ya. I didn't think spool made products for mercedes...which HPFP's did you go with? Ive been looking into this as well. I figured if I'm going to do meth, I may as well look into flex as well. Have you already installed the built trans? If so did you notice a difference, and what did you do for tuning for that? The trans is the biggest complaint I have with this car. I have the CSF cooler going in along with similar mods. Sounds like we are after a similar result.

I think I got the first set of the pumps out of spool so they are not advertised on the website just yet ,they offer 50% increased flow over the stock units. It’s gonna be a while before they go in as I’ll need to get my car 100% sorted on the YP4 first before adding them to the mix.
Ive had the built trans since November last year, if you planning on getting one make sure your installer has Xentry (or buy it yourself like I did) as it takes a lot of forced adaptions to get it running smoothly, after that it’s fine. When I got the built trans there was no TCU tuning (there is now and Kevin told me he’s not far off having this) so the only changes to the tune you make are so you don’t have to limit torque to 900nm anymore (you can run over 1000nm with stock clutches but it’s up to you how long you want it to last) last dyno run i did with Pure 900”s it made 1250nm with no issues at all.

Look forward to seeing more details about this. What exactly did weistec do to the trans? The turbosmart bov's the dual port or the EM's? They only list the dual ports as compatible for our cars but what are you using as a controller? I would love to see if the em's would fit without having to modify the plastic loom shrouds up front and not need a boost controller.

Here is the link to the Weistec trans kit
https://www.weistec.com/722-9-bullet...-late-mct.html
Im based in South Africa so it was cheaper for me to get this ordered and installed than rebuild my box using stock clutches ( Mercedes here has stupid parts mark up)
I went with the dual ports and just integrated the vacuum line , the stock units are junk and leak , i can send you some pics of my boost curve before and after if your interested to see. They fit in the original mounting points so the only mods you have to make is the vacuum signal line, the kit comes with plugs to delete the factory cable control

Sounds like a great build! Wondering if you plan on running straight meth or if you’ll be using boost juice. I’m doing the pure 900s this week and adding a meth kit while I’m there. Tuner recommended meth only. Wondering what your experience has been 🤙

The most meth I’ve run is 60% currently (pure meth and distilled water) , when I start running higher boost than 24psi that will probably change. Your doing the right thing by adding a water meth kit with the pure 900”s , just make sure you have an In tank filter!

There are few guys running 100% meth , look up RDO247 on here he runs it with his YP4”s so will be able to give you exact answers rather than me plucking them out of thin air. Our cars run closed loop fuel control all the time so by running 100% meth you give the stock fuel system a lot of reserve capacity.

thanks for the feed back! I’m in talks with Kevin for the tune. I was going to have a local do it out here (Darden) but I’ve seen a lot of good stuff about Kevin. I’m not looking to get to wild with the car and would be happy to hit 700whp. I have the 9 speed and haven’t been able to find too much on how these hold up.

I also can't find the in tank filter you mentioned - the only filters I've been able to track down are these https://www.sakebombgarage.com/water...ection-filter/
any idea where I can find that?

Kevins def the man for the job, he’s done a lot of tunes on this platform esp with the pure 900”s,Def spend a little more and get the full custom tune from him.

Thats a good filter , my filter is in tank so not as easy to access as this one. You shouldn’t have to clean it often at all , you just don’t want to get a clogged nozzle and have everything turn to **** on one bank.

if you have a look at the below link you can see what I was using

http://www.aquamist-direct.com/system-replacement-parts/

they do offer inline filters as well

Sounds good I'll make sure I get one ordered - Thanks for all the helpful feedback - looking forward to getting this build done

As an alternative if you want npt ports + AN I have used this one in past and is nice because you can see when it needs to be cleaned. https://prometh.com/collections/misc...nt=14181639107

BMS WMI kits include a fluid filter, it screws in to the solenoid inlet.

one last thing.... what rim/tire setup were you running? Great to have all this power but have to be able to put it down 🤙🏽
