Racing Brake 2 piece rear rotors!
Stock rear rotor with 9800 miles of wear weighing in at 23.5 lbs. New RB rotor weighing in at 15.4 lbs. Just shaved 8.1lbs of unsprung weight per side!

Racing Brake. These are %100 direct replacement. No special pads or anything are needed. I have the Carbon front rotors so I cannot do a weight comparison for the group but these on the rear are a ridiculous weight saving. Extremely high quality product.

RB rotors are good and lightweight but probably more suited for a car that visits the track often

Unsprung weight is about acceleration as much as anything. The less weight in the wheels/brakes, the easier it is for the engine to spin it. If this is solely a cost conversation then it becomes to subjective as value is perceived. I'm happy to sell my mint OEM rear rotors if anyone is interested. I really never thought about it. They show almost zero wear.

I believe the SL65 and SLS rotors fits directly also and they are two piece rotors with weight saving. But these are much better, and of course more expensive

Couldn't agree on the front carbon brake more. Love them and no dust. Sadly, since carbon on the rear is to much $$$, I've conceded to the dust of the OEM pads (have tried many aftermarket "low dust" pads). A friend told me that more dust usually means better stopping power and I'm inclined to believe that might be true. I'm not knocking the low dust pads but I can say I believe the OEM pads stop better (yes I know, with less dust). I'm sure the flaming will begin so I'll say again, this is just my opinion. Stopping is my first priority.

How is the dusting with these rotors? Is it the same? How about wear? Maybe too soon
