First mods done:

Chrome delete grille and door handle and wrap the roof in gloss black

Gloss black replacement v8 biturbo and trunk Mercedes logo.

KW H.A.S coil overs

Will update pictures in the next week or 2 once the carbon is done being installed!

I’m knocking out all exterior mods first then turning to the engine. The future build will be

Pure 900 turbos

Custom fabricated 3.5 inch cat back exhaust (straight pipe)

Custom fabricated catless down pipes

Weistec carbon airbox

Wider front and rear tires (thinking 305 rears 265 fronts )

Feel free to comment or PM me any questions, tips or tricks! I will be posting pictures updating the car as she comes along!

Thanks

2017 c63 sedan
is this Build possible?

hey guys,
my names nick and i want to mod my 2017 c63 sedan to make well over 1000hp
This Build would be my dream build but i haven't had any experience with cars that have that much horsepower.
here is the list of things i would like to do it, i am not gonna list the exterior mods because its just for looks and i want to know if the engine mods that i do are possible or would break the car.
base c63 2017 has 469hp
i would add
MBH motorsports c63 AMG Long tube headers /which wouldnt add more power but it would add better sound and reliabilty

Weistec m177 Downpipes, c63 which would add 198hp

weistec w.4 Turbo upgrade, m177 which would add 481 hp

and a akrapovic Evolution line titanium exhaust for my c63

the total engine mods would make it around 1100hp or even a bit more

could you guys pls tell me if that would be possible and if it would be what else i would have to upgrade so it doesnt blow up and if its risky or not, all of your opinion matters.
Thanks so much to the people that help me in advance.

Why Bro ?
Enjoy the Default speed and perks... try to exploit more and you will be back here asking why such and such broke.

Looking for pure speed .. Go with a Porsche GST , GT3 , or something V10
Lighter and can hook .

Just saying

You might want to start by doing some research on the platform you intended to modify. There are no long tube headers for a turbo motor like the M177. The exhaust gases go from the heads, to the exhaust manifold in the hot V of the engine, to the turbines (which spin the compressors), then out via the downpipes on through to the remainder of the exhaust.

Honestly man it sounds like you need to learn a lot more about the car in question before you go hacking it up. You're going to get taken for a sucker at most shops you go to asking for longtube headers on a turbo car. Take it from me, I built a Supra in the early 00's and got taken for a ride from absolutely everyone involved only to have a car that I would have been much happier with had it not made way more power than I could handle at the time. 1,000hp cars are for people who've owned 400, 500, 600+ horsepower cars for a long time and know them in and out.

****THIS. Everyone thinks they are a great driver because they had a 250hp car with a K&N Filter sticker on the side window, and upgraded platinum plugs plus octane booster, and they could zig zag around traffic on the highway, or go really really fast in a straight line at a stop light when the light turns green. If you don't understand what exactly you want to do, or have an idea of what exactly it takes to get it done - probably just best to keep the car near stock, and put a sticker on it, with some nice wheels and call it a day.. Plenty of guys wreck their cars, and either hurt/kill themselves, their passengers, or others on the road because they watched Fast and Furious one too many times, modify their cars well beyond their driving skill, or common sense and just wrap the car around something like a telephone pole because it is more power than they realize and driving like a crazy guy is bad enough in a regular car, but a really really powerful car just gets them dead or in really big trouble with the law, etc..

You can wreck a 100 hp car easily enough, but a 500,600+ HP car and you can wreck it a LOT faster, and probably more completely very very quickly with almost no time to react. One guy in my area killed his girlfriend relatively recently showing off in his dads Viper, versus his own 2008 Nissan Versa with sweet rims, and performance exhaust. He didn't realize the car was so fast and 100mph comes up a lot quicker, and 90 degree turns are not easy to negotiate at that speed for most folks..

Anyway, your car, your money, do what you want of course.

So I heard rumors a year ago that Spool was R&Ding a direct swap in-tank HPFP....that true? If so, any ETA on that?

I think there is confusion going on regarding the fuel system on these cars. we will try to clarify it here. The HPFP [High pressure fuel pump] is a mechanical pump driven by a fuel lobe on the cam shaft. The fuel system on the M177 LS1 and LS2 consists of a low pressure side and a high pressure side. the low pressure side uses a single lift pump to lift fuel from the tank to the engine bay at less than 150psi of pressure. this fuel feeds the two high pressure pump in the engine bay which feeds the fuel rails holding the high pressure DI injectors. the pressure post high pressure pumps are about 1700psi at idle and 2900+psi on load. we offer upgraded high flow high pressure pumps that replaces the car's stock high pressure pumps. we aso offer stage 3 plug and play upgraded LPFP[ low pressure fuel pump] setups that incorporate two electric lift pumps. this is because you have two challenges to solve when it comes to fueling. you need to make sure you are able to lift enough fuel upto the high pressure pump at the desired pressure and also that the high pressure pump has enough volume to feed the high pressure injectors at the horsepower you're running on the type of fuel mix you are running.

Thanks for the clarification, and that makes sense. HPFP will only get you so far if you don't upgrade what supplies it, which is the LPFP.

Are these the correct parts?
- LPFP: http://spoolperformance.us/index.php...product_id=108
- HPFP: http://spoolperformance.us/index.php...&product_id=85

And it appears that both are plug 'n play? HPFP is in the engine bay, and LPFP is in the trunk.
Any fitment issues (eg cutting or special enclosure for the LPFP in the trunk, or intake incompatibility for the HPFP? (Rumor was you couldn't install/fit the Eventuri intake with the HPFP upgrade)?

Definitely interested, especially since the website shows you can run Ethanol blend/E85 with these pumps!

Those are correct for a C63 FX150 build. Both are 'plug and play' except for the rail mod needed to push more fuel through the rail. that is something you cannot escape if you want more fuel delivered into the rail. I would say unless you are highly mechanically inclined, this is a job for a workshop.
As far compatibility with other intake systems, we designed the kit with the stock intake configuration as it is hard to keep up with every intake mod that exists or might come out. Some minor mod maybe required depending on how far the intake system veers off from the original's dimensions. If I remember correct, one of our clients with an intake did have to shave off the intake a little. Don't remember if it was Eventuri.

Yea I'm not crazy lol. Will be professionally installed.

Do you know anyone who's experienced in E85/Ethanol blend tunes on this platform?

Eurocharged, ECC, utkunoaperformance etc do multiple builds a month on these platforms. there are more that are good that i'm missing for sure. if you're in Florida, Eurocharged Orlando and Mbenz in Miami has good experience with these platforms, whichever one is closer to you.

Stage 3 ECU and TCU Tune

Spool Fx-200 hpfp

Spool lpfp

285 R888R in rear

who’s your tuner? My c63s spins through 3rd gear and I only have a stage 2 tune ( ECU/TCU) , downpipes and custom exhaust . I can’t imagine what it’s like with 1000 HP at the crank .

@Jeff SD - what tire are you running? You probably need a street radial at the minimum. Also note when running full frame turbos, the power band is moved higher up in the rev range, so it mitigates wheel spins bit. I spin in 4th on Michelin PS4S so am switching to a street radial.
