new 2020 c63s amg exhaust mod options/recs
Hello all, recently bought a 2020 c63s AMG and absolutely love the car. I am however interested in making the exhaust a louder (and add a bit more burble/pop) and am seeking advice.
My preference would be not to void the factory warranty.
I would consider modifying the existing exhaust (resonator delete/secondary cat delete etc), or replacing the exhaust with an aftermarket product.
Any and all advice/recs appreciated.

Your only option (if you don’t want to touch anything physically) is installing the an ASR module which keeps your exhaust valves open all the time. You’ll get much more exhaust volume at idle and at lower RPMs. At wide open throttle (higher RPM, it’ll sound the same as stock since they’re fully open when above certain RPM and engine load.
RennTech licensed their product (rebranded as RennTech EVM) which should work on later models, but expect to pay a premium for the RennTech name.
Last option are cheap AWE valve simulators that keep your valves open all the time (but you lose functionality of closing them) - cost about $50 bucks.
I highly recommend searching the forum for these topics, they have been discussed at length.

this is awesome, I think this is what im looking for, just a bit more noise at low speed/RPM with more variety of sounds coming from the engine. I found this video:

Ok great thank you for the video and additional info. I think that will be what i end up getting. Just looking for a bit more noise it seems that the 2020 c63s is a bit more muted than its predecessors in its stock form.

Will getting these module, ASR or Ren, put my car in a limp mode?? I saw few posts about car acting weird or lose of power after installing flap module. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I see. So then during install, it won't put the car into limp mode as long as the install correctly right? And do you just undo the module when you go in for a service?
