So here is the thing about the facelift C63s and GLC63. I'm fine with the GLC63 getting MBUX, bigger touchpad and all of that stuff (i mean the rotating wheel is more accurate, rarely use the one on the steering wheel) but the Multi color ambient light !!!! we are the same platform and model year like why??

i wish we could change ambient lights with OBD like them BMW's.

What do you guys think? can we make it happen on C63s ?

 

huh, there are aftermarket kits that can make you any color you like...or I don’t understand your problem?

 

The new ones do have the multi colour ambient lighting in N America ...maybe just not in Saudi Arabia but you can go aftermarket ..there is a thread already posted

 

No i have a 2020 C63s it only comes with 64 colors, not the mixed colors one (like red moon).

 

64 colors is the most you can get - OEM or aftermarket.

 

It's not as bright either ):

 

it can be bright, make sure you chose the highest brightness, tinted windows, and the right colors.

some colors are bright more than others. for example the best color numbers i have found is the

34 (blue)
30 (purple)
25 ( fuchsia ) * Great for dates

 

The dual-zone or tri-zone options (simultaneously displaying red and blue, or three different colors, etc) are not available in the C-class as far as I know. I’ve only seen them in the E-class and some SUVs.

 

and the GLC ( which is based on the C ) has them...

Is that with the original oem 64 colors? Just by coding you get multicolor or you need any wiring?

then it was coded for multicolor animation
