2020 C63s AMG

Hello Everyone,

I need some advises please. I am looking to buy a 2020 c63s. I know that they recently did a facelift for the c63 in 2019. It is still worth it to buy the currently c63 generation or just wait for the new generation with updated body/engine and technologies?

thank you

Tai

I did it.. 2020 C63S. But it’s because well we never know when our time might be up these days. That and i wanted a V8. The facelift tech is okay but not the touchscreen MBUX system. If you are able to wait I say wait. If the w206 is not what u expected when it’s released u can always find a w205.

Tai,

I also wanted a 2020 model placed an order in April because I thought they were moving forward with the 2021 models becoming 4 cylinder engines and the new interior just looked back with the iPad screens. But they are keeping the 2021 models the same as the 2020 just making the moonroof standard and some other thing. They also removed the LED projector lamps that shine the AMG logo on the ground as well as the rear sun shade. In July after 3 months from placing my order for the 2020 they said it got kicked back and I had to order a 2021. In later 2021 or 2022 they will be giving it a complete facelift to the next generation as well as downsizing the engine to the 4 cylinder. Depending on if you care about the V8 or not you have limited time in ordering one if you want otherwise you will have to find the very few left that are already made and sitting on lots. I was looking at trying to find one on a lot but I personally am not willing to sacrifice some of the features and end up paying more for something I don't want or get full value from if I am going to drop that much money on this model. I was able to work up a DE1 discount which is (12.25%) off MSRP. I was lucky to get this discount because the sales rep I was talking to back in December was furloughed and I said that he was going to give me that discount to the new guy and they honored it otherwise I was going to go back to shopping around. Nonetheless you should be able to work up at least a 4-7% discount off MSRP since they are going to be trying to push off the older models to make room for the new generation. Also, cars that have been sitting on the lots cost the dealership in insurance money so its in their best interest to get the car sold asap. If you are going to wait for the new generation they will not consider any discount because it is brand new.
