Double Shifting
While driving my 2018 C63s, it at times double shifts when I'm up shifting and downshifting (normal, quick paddle operation, not holding the paddle in.) Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how was it resolved? Thanks

Sometimes it's hit and miss when using the paddles. You press them and occasionally they'll not do what they're told.

Yeah, , When in automatic mode and using the paddle shifters,I have also experienced that the car will execute the shift it had planned even if I have just hit the paddle. Just timing. If you put it in manual mode, it will not do it.

Your shift paddles may have developed excessive switch bounce, and as a result the TCU is registering two shifts when you only press the paddles once. Every mechanical switch has bounce, and usually there is a debouncing circuit to filter it out, but if the bounce is excessive, it may not be filtered out. Maybe some dirt got in, or they are simply worn. Could also be a loose contact.

With how fast/crisp the automatic shifts are, and how well the transmission has been tuned to suit the M177 engine, I really honestly have no complaints about there not being a manual.
And this is coming from someone who's 5 out of 7 last vehicles have all been manuals
I do not miss the stop and go traffic shifting N-1-N-1-N, or headache and costs of clutch replacements every so often (for those of us who drive aggro frequently).
